Raquel y Gonzalo.

After lunch, we went to Mai's class to present our work of the week, but we had also the last ceremony. We received a diploma from the university and we got the prizes of different activities that we have done during the camp. We watched also the movies that we recorded last Saturday and and a final video reminder of all the camp. Once we finished we went to the accommodation and we had some time to take a shower and wear our bests clothes.

After dinner we had the last party. When we were entering there were some poster asking where was she. Finally she was Dory and we could find her in the dining room. We party until 23:00 when we went to sleep because tomorrow some of us have to wake up very early.

ALTON TOWERS

Hello to all the families.

Yesterday, we woke up at 6:00 because we went to Alton Towers (the biggest theme park in England). We had breakfast and we took the train to go to the center wehre we met the families group. There, we had to wait a lot of time because the bus was late, but at 9:30 we could go to Alton Towers.

Once we arrived at Alton Towers some of us went to buy the fast pass ticket because the queues were very long. Then we split into groups and we went to the roller coasters like Smiler, Rita, Nemesis or oblivion. It was a warm day so some of us decided to ride in water roller coasters to refresh a little bit.

At 17:45 we met in the entrance of the park to take the bus and come back to Birmingham where we had dinner, we watched Frozen and then we went to sleep. It was a very long day and we were very tired.

Hugs and kisses.

Nico and Adrià.

DANCE & MTV AWARDS

On Thursday, we woke up as usual at 8:00 and, after the breakfast we went to class. In class we practise the scene of Charlie and the chocolate factory that we are going to play on Friday. Some of us also finised our scrapbooks.

After lunch, we had a very special activity: dance. We had a really good dancer teaching us to dance two songs. He asked us before start and we decided to begin with the difficult one, but we could manage it. It was amazing, he dances very very well and we were impressed of his movements.

After two hours of dance we had a shower and we went to have dinner. Then, we had the MTV awards were all of us danced or sang a song. The winners were a group of six girls and the jury said that the group of: Adrià, Nico, Carlos and Joan were the best "pineapple". Afterwards, we saw a presentation of the last big trip: Alton towers, the biggest  theme park in England.

Around 21:00 we went to the accommodation to cook the packed lunch for Alton Towers. We could choose the topic of our wrap: chicken, bacon, cheese, salad, tomato...

Finally, we hadn't got kitchen time because we had to wake up early.

See you soon mom and dad.

Carlos and Dani.

CADBURY WORLD (BCU GROUP)

Yesterday we woke up at 7:45 in the morning and we had breakfast 15 min earlier because we had to take the train at 9:14 to Bournville. When we started our tour a lady gave us three different chocolate bars and we started with the history of chocolate. The leaders gave us some papers with questions to answer during the visit, like a game. We visit many sections and we ate a lot of chocolate.

Once we finished the tour we went to the shop to buy some souvenirs and then we went to watch a 4D movie in Cadbury. There, we ate our packed lunch and we talk a lot. We couldn't play because it was rainning but we went to the bowling from last Friday and we could decide to go to the bowling or watch a film, but except for two of us the group choose the bowling.

At 18:00 we met at the cinema entrance and we went back to BCU to have dinner. After dinner we played a quiz with topics like English food or Students and we went to bed at 23:00 very tired.

Yesterday was an excited day and we loved it.

ICE SKATING (BCU GROUP)

We started the day as usual with the breakfast at 8:30 but when we were going to class Joana and Mai lead us to the supermarket next to the university to buy some things to do some snack. Yesterday the class was in the kitchens cooking crispy desserts. We couldn't eat them because we were eating one hour later.

After lunch, we went back to the accommodation to meet the group families and we took a bus together to go to the ice skating. We skate for one hour and a half and some of us fell down many times because we are learning. But, anyway, we had a lot of fun.

After the ice skating we went to a park next to the ice skating but we had forgotten the balls so we had to go to a shop to buy some balls to play in the park.

Once back in BCU, we went to have dinner and our leader Gonzalo showed as some amazing experiments like an oil planet between alochol and water. Then, we saw a little presentation about Cadbury world, the visit of the day after and we went to sleep.

See you in one week.

VOLLEYBALL (BCU GROUP)

On Wednesday morning we woke up at 8:15 am and we met at the meeting point to have breakfast, like every morning. Then, we had class until 13:00 where we did a lot of things: we played games on the board to learn more vocabulary, we talked about the recipes of different dishes and we worked in our scrapbook. After class, we ate from 13:00 to 14:00. We had pizza for lunch!

That day we had class at 14:00 to prepare the film, but we had two hours, one in the classes and the other in the accommodation because one of the groups started to record their film. At 17:00 we went to the sports hall of the accommodation to play volleyball with the sports teams. Blue team won but both teams played very well.

After volleyball we had a shower and we went to have dinner. The final activity was a special bingo with images of London instead of the normal numbers. We had a lot of fun.

Finally, at kitchen time the girls fried Mars with Joana (one of the teachers) and Raquel (the leader). It sounds weird but it tasted very good.

A lot of kisses to the families, we miss you!
