TRIP TO LONDON!

Today we woke up at 6 o'clock to take a train to London. In the train we called our families and we had breakfast (sandwich with Nutella, napolitana and juice). We also played table games.

When we arrived to London we visited Covent Garden, it was amazing!! There were a lot of shops and restaurants. The father Jesus explained us the history of each monument; for example, he told us that Covent Garden had been a jumble sale, the people went there to sell their raw materials, vegetables or farm butchers.

After the Covent Garden we went to the British Museum. There we watched Egypt samples like mummies or their ancient scripture.

Then, we took the underground to go to the Tower of London and we had lunch. We ate the wraps and the rice we prepared yesterday and an apple. Before, the Tower of London was a prison, but now is just an old monument. Inside the tower there are crowns without wings, so they won't be able to scape. The legend says that if the crowns disappear, all the population will die.

When we finished our lunch we went to the Tower Bridge. We crossed the river Thames and we saw a lot of boats.

To continue our visit we saw the Big Ben and the Parlament of London. After that, we walked to Picadilly Circus. There we saw a big festival and we could entered to a big M&Ms store. The leaders gave us time to visit the store.

Then, we went to a big shop were we could buy souvenirs and to a 7-floor toy-store called Hamleys. When we finished buying, we returned to the main London train station by underground. Then, we took a train to Birmingham.

When we arrived we went to our University to have dinner (salad, lamb with vegetables and fruit or ice-cream) . After dinner we came back to the accommodation and we took a shower, we put our pyjamas and watch a serie.

It was a fantastic day!!! But now we are all so tired! Good night

VISITING BIRMINGHAM

On Tuesday we woke up at 8 o’clock, after we had breakfast and we get ready to go to university.

In the classes , our teacher Jerry, taught us the history of the UK .In our opinion ,the most incredible thing was that on the night of 5th  November Guy Fawkes  tried to kill the King of the UK. So now in the UK every 5th November the British people celebrate with fireworks this night.

When we had finish our classes, we went to have lunch (salad, mashed potato and sausages). On it the teachers explained us what we were going to do.
After lunch we went to the train station to get a train to Birmingham. In the travel we played the famous game of the story telling.

In Birmingham we did a tour. First we visited the Birmingham Cathedral, then we went to the Council House and took some photos. After we went to the secret garden in the terrace and the memory of Shakespeare. It was amazing!

Finally we visited the BBC studios and we made some funny videos like a reporters. (Watch the BBC videos below) After that the monitors gave us a map and 12 pictures of buildings. This scavenger Hunt it is perfect for tourist because we can know more things about Birmingham.

At 6 o’clock we came back by bus and we had dinner at university (hamburger and sweetcorn). After that we phoned our families to explain the day and how we were. Then we played Karaoke and we danced.

At night we had a shower and we put on the pyjama, then we went to the stairs because the Padre Sorribes wanted to give us the blessing.

THE DAY WAS INCREDIBLE!!!

MUCHAS GRACIAS

Raquel y Gonzalo.

ALTON TOWERS

Hello to all the families.

Yesterday, we woke up at 6:00 because we went to Alton Towers (the biggest theme park in England). We had breakfast and we took the train to go to the center wehre we met the families group. There, we had to wait a lot of time because the bus was late, but at 9:30 we could go to Alton Towers.

Once we arrived at Alton Towers some of us went to buy the fast pass ticket because the queues were very long. Then we split into groups and we went to the roller coasters like Smiler, Rita, Nemesis or oblivion. It was a warm day so some of us decided to ride in water roller coasters to refresh a little bit.

At 17:45 we met in the entrance of the park to take the bus and come back to Birmingham where we had dinner, we watched Frozen and then we went to sleep. It was a very long day and we were very tired.

Hugs and kisses.

Nico and Adrià.

DANCE & MTV AWARDS

On Thursday, we woke up as usual at 8:00 and, after the breakfast we went to class. In class we practise the scene of Charlie and the chocolate factory that we are going to play on Friday. Some of us also finised our scrapbooks.

After lunch, we had a very special activity: dance. We had a really good dancer teaching us to dance two songs. He asked us before start and we decided to begin with the difficult one, but we could manage it. It was amazing, he dances very very well and we were impressed of his movements.

After two hours of dance we had a shower and we went to have dinner. Then, we had the MTV awards were all of us danced or sang a song. The winners were a group of six girls and the jury said that the group of: Adrià, Nico, Carlos and Joan were the best "pineapple". Afterwards, we saw a presentation of the last big trip: Alton towers, the biggest  theme park in England.

Around 21:00 we went to the accommodation to cook the packed lunch for Alton Towers. We could choose the topic of our wrap: chicken, bacon, cheese, salad, tomato...

Finally, we hadn't got kitchen time because we had to wake up early.

See you soon mom and dad.

Carlos and Dani.
