Alton Towers Day

A lot of people agree with us to say that today is the best day. But to show it and make you agree us, better we explain it.

Well, we woke up earlier that other days, at 7.30am, what could seem to be a bad thing, but it was better so we could enjoy more the day. We dressed up, we had packed breakfast in our bedrooms and we took the bus to Alton Towers.

Once we got to the park, we were shocked because there were lots of people (we were told that today was planned to be 400 buses). We divided intro groups and then we had time to enjoy it.

As we had to meet the leaders at lunch time, some people chose to ride Nemesis or Oblivion, and most of us could only ride one of them because the queues were so long. After that meeting and having lunch, we continued riding more rollercoasters. Some of us bought a Fast Track so we could enjoy the most coasters we could in less time. The rides we enjoyed the most were: Oblivion, Nemesis, Air Th13rteen, Nemesis- Subterra and Spinball.

At 5.30pm we had to meet with our leaders again to come back. We talked and shared with each other which rides we enjoyed the most. Later on, we took the bus to come back to BCU and then we had dinner.

Now we are watching Blue Water High and after we will go to the bedrooms because we are really tired after the best day in the summer camp.

Hi guys!!!!! I am really impressed with the explanation about your day in Alton towers!! It`s amazing how your English is improving everyday. I'm really proud of you, Pedro, and hope you enjoyed yesterday as much as your English is growing. Bravo Pedro y Pablo (you are not the Flintstones, are you? jajaja) I Know it is an easy joke, that I am also used to hear.
Well, there is only one and a half day left. Just the party, packing and flying back home. I am looking forward for the moment we meet again. Just take the most of the time remaining, it is running out very quick. and as soon as you reach home, you will start missing " BCU". Till next year. Thank your teachers, leaders (we use to call them "monitores" when I was a pupil in the "Newman College" hundreds of years ago) and friends for the great and useful time you have spent.
Hugs and kisses for Everybody in MANYANET.
